This article presents state-of-the art of modern hardware-in-the-loop systems for testing electronic chassis control systems in trucks and in truck/trailer combinations. In the last few years, hardware-in-the-loop has proven to be a time and cost-saving testing method for passenger cars, ideally complementing real driving tests.
