- This document describes the unclassified part of the lightning protection studies for a video control system. The study was held during September 1994 at Cruas Nuclear Power Plant (F-07). Positive improvements were seen immediately and long term benefits have been reinforced by continued protection. The studies were conducted with a new EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) concept: "Zero Method". This concept uses an accessible and easy process to control the industrial electromagnetic interference from radio, cellular phones and lightning effects. The adopted solutions improve personnel and facility safety and provide a cost effective solution
