- Summary:
- During the development of safety-related components for the automobile industry we are subjected to strict guidelines and time restrictions which should not be underestimated. This is why we are forced to develop technologies to facilitate delivery of to supply safe components in very short time. The use of operating strength during the last 15 years has enabled us to reduce the number of prototypes and to inform technical designers on the essential characteristics of operationally reliable designs. With the aid of the Finite Element Method and the operating strength we will determine the following: to give the designer needed information as to whether the design is able to meet the requested service life values, orWhat has to be done to achieve theoretical and experimental guidelines using these methods, to facilitate service life estimation prior to the prototype stage
