- Summary:
- A new modeling approach was developed for galvanic devices including batteries and fuel cells. The hybrid modeling approach reduces the complexity of the First Principles method and adds a physical basis to the empirical method. It provides a practical technique for device users to obtain a physics-based, accurate, chemistry and device independent model of the device. Practical uses of the model include device characteristics analysis, system and circuit design that enables a more efficient and intelligent utilization of galvanic devices
