- The low-altitude wind shear is a key factor which influences hedgehopping. This paper represents a study of low-altitude wind shear and its influences on the taking-off, landing and other hedgehopping of aircraft. Simulations of two common kinds of low-altitude wind shear, id est micro-downburst stream and mountainous air stream are introduced. Their influences upon the longitudinal flight tracks and the performance of longitudinal motion are analyzed. The properties of aircraft control are discussed when it hedgehops in a micro-downburst stream and a mountainous air stream
