- Summary:
- PEMFC systems are gaining increased importance as clean and efficient energy sources for electric vehicles. Research and development at Degussa-Huels AG is focused on catalyst systems for mobile PEMFC applications, particularly membrane-electrode-assemblies (MEAs) for PEMFC stacks and catalysts for fuel processing, id est generation and purification of hydrogen [1,2,3]. Results of steady state and transient measurements performed with advanced catalysts for preferential oxidation of CO (PrOx) and new MEAs based on CO-tolerant electrocatalysts are presented in this paper
