Summary:
Recently, we developed a double turntable-type centrifugal tester for linear accelerometer testing, which has two turntables, a main turntable and a sub-turntable. It is possible to test especially for low frequency range (DC to 20Hz) characteristics (phase and gain), that could not be tested using existing vibration testers. This frequency range is typically encountered in chassis control systems, such as ABS, ASR, VDC and suspension control systems. When imposing 1G X 0.1Hz, existing vibration testers require an approximately 50m vibration stroke, which is unrealistic. However, the tester we have developed is able to create this condition easily. In this paper, we introduce the basic design and performance of our developed tester
