Summary:
The structure of the global energy supply system consists of different primary energy carriers. Because of different evaluations, for instance due to the duration of the primary energy carriers and the danger of operating the conversion technologies, this present structure cannot be the most desirable one. An essential question of mankind, which is part of technology assessment studies, is how to achieving a sustainable energy supply. In this paper new results to this entire problem are presented using a hybrid method of the soft computing techniques fuzzy logic and genetic algorithms considering different technical and non-technical evaluation criteria to achieve optimum primary energy percentages that form the best energy mix
