It comprises composite-ceramic sheathed-element glow plugs and a transistorized glow control unit.Due to its innovative heating principle with external heater element, and its very high glow-plug temperature, the composite-ceramic sheathed-element glow plug has a number of considerable advantages compared to the conventional ceramic and metal glow plugs
