- Summary:
- A new approach to evaluate optical parameters of new semitransparent materials which can be used for heat-insulating coatings of combustion chamber (chamber ([[illegible]]) is discussed. Theoretical predictions and experimental estimations of the parameters are analyzed with particular attention to those of model samples based on granulated powder of the stabilized zirconium oxide (ZrO2 + 10% Y2O3). A setup is described designed to measure the reflection and transmission coefficients of the flat samples semitransparent materials. Possible applications of the semitransparent ceramic heat-insulating coatings in CC are outlined
