Summary:
This study presents the development of a mini power plant prototype designed to convert solar energy into mechanical energy through the use of green hydrogen. The system comprises a photovoltaic panel, an electrolyzer, a hydrogen fuel cell, and a DC motor with a propeller. The main objective is to assess the technical feasibility of generating and consuming green hydrogen in real time for clean energy applications. The process begins with water electrolysis powered by solar energy, producing hydrogen to be fed into the fuel cell, which in turn supplies electrical energy to the DC motor. The results demonstrate the potential of this approach for sustainable energy conversion and highlight the importance of optimizing system components such as electrodes, membranes, and energy storage.
