Summary:
In recent years, the level of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) diffusion in airtight places, such as automobiles and housings, is becoming a very serious issue. VOC could be a health hazard causing headache and dizziness. Now it is everyone's responsibility to reduce the amount of VOC as much as possible and the double coated tape, used to fix many interior parts of automobiles, represents one item that we need to control. We use double coated tapes in many places and often these tapes are made with organic solvent, generally toluene. Although some of the double coated tapes are made with lower toxicity organic solvent, we still face the risk of harming our health. With original material design, manufacturing technology and skills, we successfully developed the Low VOC Double Coated Tape. The tape is made with water borne pressure sensitive adhesive that does not require any organic solvent in its manufacturing process. The tape is environmentally friendly and people safe yet gives the same reliable high-bondage that is required in automotive applications
