- Summary:
- The analysis of modern E/E subsystems for vehicle architecture development requires an extensive knowledge base and capability in order to balance all the imperatives of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Analysis should encompass such impacts as mass, packaging, scalability, manufacturing, and cost at the subsystem level as well as at the overall vehicle level. To accomplish these tasks a well developed, flexible tool with the capability to quickly compare multiple alternatives is required. This paper will focus on demonstrating such a tool, its effectiveness at examining multiple alternatives for a specific subsystem, and the impact the various design implementations have on the selected imperatives
