- Summary:
- The Product Design Generator (PDG), developed by Jordan Cox and Greg Roach, streamlines the product development process, and has commonly reduced product design cycle time from several months to a matter of a few minutes. The PDG guides the designer/engineer automatically through the design and development process of product families, and incorporates a feedback loop for test results to automatically improve the next iteration of a product design. However, the implementation of an effective feedback loop has not been fully demonstrated. This paper explores the process of implementing an effective feedback loop using rapid prototype methods and a Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) system to improve a Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) model
