- Summary:
- This paper described the principle of a new stratified scavenging system of two-stroke gasoline engine, then the three-dimension numerical simulation of scavenging process was performed, whose boundary conditions was obtained by a one-dimension numerical simulation of scavenging process. The test of engine on the bench was carried out, and the results show that the lowest brake specific fuel consumption on the full-load performance curve is 348g/kWh, and the mean brake specific fuel consumption under the same condition was reduced by 25.5%
