Technical Data Packages (TDP) contain engineering information that can be used throughout the extended enterprise at all stages of the product lifecycle. In an e-business supply chain environment it is necessary for the prime contractor and the suppliers to exchange and collaborate on TDPs efficiently to reduce the cost of manufacturing and procuring parts.
