Furness PR3304 .C5 1713 imperfect: half-title leaf wanting. Purchased for the Penn Libraries in 2026 from Antiquates Ltd. Green paper label ("T. CONNOLLY, BOOKSELLER, 10, UP. ORMOND QUAY, DUBLIN.") of Thomas Connolly (approximately 1816-1870) on front pastedown. "This copy features production annotations in an early hand, consistently marking the direction of entrances and exits for all major characters"--Bookseller's description. Bookseller's manuscript notes in pencil on blank leaf preceding title leaf. Early manuscript inscription in head outer corner of title leaf. Bookseller's description of this copy laid in. Bound in half parchment over marbled paper boards; gold-stamped black leather spine label ("CATO. 1713."); all edges stippled red. Portion of title leaf torn off with damage to title and mended with a blank leaf; tear in lower corner of leaf I4 mended on verso with a blank leaf.
