Issued in parts by Chapman and Hall in a new series of the complete edition of Charles Dickens known as the Household edition. Reset in large type on a quarto page, the series was furnished with entirely new illustrations by a fresh set of artists. The series could also be purchased as penny numbers and bound volumes.
