Summary:
Six scenes of couples kissing at various ages are shown in the film, which loosely adapts the structure of Jaques' "All the World's a Stage" monologue from William Shakespeare's comedy As You Like It. These scenes include Infancy, Playmates, Schoolmates, Lovers (in some versions, 'The Soldier'), The Judge, and Second Childhood. Another scene, 'What Age?', depicts a woman of unknown age caressing her cat in a dreamlike manner
