Summary:
In this book, the first chapter analysis the efficacy of ESD and its ability to save the planet. The second chapter investigates the potential challenges and opportunities associated with the implementation of critical pedagogy in Ghana's higher education institutions, shedding light on how this approach can contribute to the development of critical thinkers, informed citizens, and change agents in Ghanaian society. The third explores how ChatGPT assists students in their writing process, students' perceptions of its usage, and potential impacts on teachers' practice. There is rapid growth of AI technology in education, highlighting the benefits and challenges of incorporating ChatGPT in language learning. The last chapter introduces service-learning as a feature for both domestic and global education programs. Service-learning offers an addition to the critical pedagogy literature by presenting a six-step framework to identify ways to design critical service-learning programs that offer collaboration, mutuality, and reciprocity among all participants.
