"A discourse of the invention of ships" (on 42 p, 2nd sequence) has caption title only; work was formerly recorded as Wing R159 but entry later cancelled. Cf. Wing (2nd ed. rev.).
"A discourse of the originall and fundamental cause of naturall, customary, arbitrary, voluntary and necessary warre" ([2], 4, [64] p.) has separate dated title page and pagination; register is continuous with part 1; it was formerly recorded as Wing R158, but entry later cancelled. Cf. Wing (2nd ed. rev.).
"Excellent observations and notes, concerning the Royall Navy and sea-service" (Wing R161) is on [2], 46 p. and "Sir Walter Rawleigh his apologie for his voyage to Guiana" (Wing R154) is on [2], 69 p.; each have separate dated title page, pagination, and register; they were apparently also issued separately.

Printer identified as Thomas Warren from Wing CD.
There are two states of the second part. In one the title reads "A Discourse Of The Originall... Cause of... Warre. With the Mystery of Invasive Warre", and in the other "A Discourse... Wit the Misery of Invasive Warre".
Bookseller's advertisement on p. [2[-[9] at end are found in two versions; in one the third item listed is "Mr. James Howells History", and in the other the third item is "The use of passions".
