Notes:
Mr. P** identified as William Pulteney. Cf. ESTC.
An attack on William Pulteney for his part in the work: An answer to one part of a late infamous libel, intitled Remarks on the Craftsman's vindication of his two honourable patrons ... in which the character and conduct of Mr. P. is fully vindicated ... (London : R. Francklin, 1731), "An answer ..." has also been attributed to Nicholas Amhurst, but ESTC ascribes it to Pulteney.
Hervey's "Remarks ..." is an attack on Bolingbroke and Pulteney, written in reply to the last letter of Bolingbroke's "Remarks on the history of England", a defense of Pulteney and himself, which appeared in the Craftsman.
The "two honourable patrons" are Pulteney and Bolingbroke.
"The remarks on the Craftsman's vindication ..." has also been ascribed to William Arnall; the "letter" referred to in the title has also been attributed to Nicholas Amhurst.
With a half-title.
