Attributed to Conrad Beissel by Seidensticker, who reports: "An earlier edition of the same book published in the same year (1745) had different titles and another preface. They were removed and ordered burned by Beissel, as they had been written by Israel Eckerlin, against whom Beissel conceived a dislike. The new edition contains also six epistles more than the first one. The original title .. reads as follows: Zionitschen Stiffts I. Theil, oder Eine wolrichende Narde .." - Commas substituted for virgules following "Vollkommenheit" in title and "Brüderschafft" in imprint.
