"An act for apportioning and assessing a tax of six thousand eight hundred and eighteen pounds, and for assessing a tax of twenty pounds laid on the town of Weston, for not sending a representative; and also for apportioning and assessing one other tax of four thousand one hundred & nine pounds six shillings paid the representatives for the year 1730,31. And a further tax of one thousand pounds emitted & appropriated for the payment of His Majesty's Council, in the present year 1730,31." Passed Aug. 25, 1731.
