Notes:
Comparison with Father Tammany's and Poor Robin's almanacs for 1799, by Joshua Sharp, both published at Philadelphia by M'Culloch, shows Sharp to be the apparent calculator of the present one. A majority of the calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages, and those in the eclipse predictions, correspond. Some notes have been omitted and others added. Most of the calculations for the rising and setting of the sun, and part of those for the moon and tides in the notes, have been adjusted slightly.
Two states of gathering G noted. The first contains "Thoughts on dwelling," followed by a list of roads. The second contains the list of roads, followed by a eulogy of Washington, with portrait.
