Notes:
The astronomical portion is by Joshua Sharp. The calculations and a majority of the astronomical notes in the calendar and eclipse pages duplicate those in Father Tammany's almanac for 1800 (Philadelphia), calculated by Sharp. In Dickson's the monthly ephemeris is absent and the tide times are abbreviated.
Advertised in the Intelligencer & weekly advertiser, Lancaster, Dec. 18, 1799.
Illustrated title page depicts Vincenzo Lunardi's balloon ascension at London, Sept. 15, 1784, showing his falling oar.
