The Quakers quibbles in three parts : first set forth in an expostulatory epistle to Will. Pfnn [i.e. Penn] concerning the late meeting held to Barbycan between the Baptists and the Quakers, also the pretended prophet Lod. Muggleton and the Quakers compared : the second part, in reply to a quibbling answer to G. Whiteheads, entituled The Quakers plainness ... : the third part, being a continuation of their quibbles ... / by the same indifferent pen.

Epistle to William Penn is signed "Thomas Thompson" (Part 1, p. 26), which, according to Halkett & Laing (2d edn.), is a pseudonym for Henry Hedworth. Cf. George Whitehead, "The timorous reviler sleighted" (Wing W1965), whose title page says that the author of the second par of the "Quakers quibbles" is "(by some) suspected to be the author of the two pamphlets, the one entituled, The spirit of the Quakers tryd; the other, Controversie ended." Both of these pamphlets are by Henry Hedworth.
Errata: p. [10] before pt. 2, p. [1] at end.
The second part was also published in the same year, and all three parts were issued together with a cancel title page (Wing T1013).
Imperfect: torn, cropped, stained and tightly bound, with slight loss of print.
