State of Massachusetts-Bay. In the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and seventy-seven. An act, passed by the Great and General Court or Assembly of the state of the Massachusetts-Bay in New-England: begun and held at Watertown, in the county of Middlesex, on Wednesday the 29th day of May, 1776, and from thence continued by adjournment to Boston, to the 12th of November following, and then met.
