Bon de Corcelles to Benjamin Franklin, 5 August 1780, informing him that the desire to see his country free "ma fait imaginer dejà depuis longtemps un plan de souscription en sa faveur, tel que la verré, dans la petite brochure ce jointe" (P ??: ???); typographical corrections, probably in the hand of the author.
Modern half sheep over contemporary marbled boards; bound with other works. MS table of contents on flyleaf and continued on title in William Temple Franklin's hand; brief pencil note at end by Benjamin Franklin; purchased from Dufief in 1801-1803 by William Duane; sold by him in 1822 to the Athenaeum of Philadelphia (143); sold in turn by it, 22 December 1885, to Historical Society.
