(Hakluyt society, v. 90): and "The voyage from Lisbon to India, 1505-6. Being an account and journal by Albericus Vespuccius. Translated from the contemporary Flemish, and edited with a prologue and notes by C.H. Coote. 1894. The reviewer identifies the supposed "account and journal by Vespuccius" as a garbled Flemish version of Balthasar Springer's Latin account of the Almeida expedition, pub. by Jan van Doesborch, Antwerp, 1508. The Latin account was printed for the first time by Martene and Durand in their "Voyage litteraire de deux religieux bénédictins de la Congrégation de s. Maur." Paris, 1724, from a manuscript, formerly in possession of Baron Guillaume de Crassier, now in the Library of the University of Glessen. of. B. Springer's Indienfahrt...von F. Schultze, Strassburg 1902.
