- "Richard Saunders" is a pseudonym.
- The calculator was William Waring. The calculations and astronomical notes on the calendar pages are practically identical with those in Poor Will's almanack for 1790 (Philadelphia), by Waring. There are fewer columns of calculations, and those for the sun are adjusted slightly in March-May and Sept.-Oct. Some notes on the length of day are omitted and others added. Waring's eclipse predictions are duplicated on p. [2].
