Literary Centennial Souvenir Booklet, dated March 9, 1950 is an exhibit catalogue containing descriptions of various events organized between April 15 and May 31, 1950 by the California Centennials Commission, and with the sponsorship of the Historical Society of Southern California, to celebrate the literary history of California over the past 100 years, 1850-1950. Booklet includes a catalogue of exhibits and announcements of various exhibits: "California the Centennnial of the Gold Rush and the First State Constitution," "A Century of California Literature" held at the Henry E. Hungtington Library at San Marino, "A Symposium on California Literature and Journalism" in Sacramento, June 24, 1950 and finally, "A Centennial Exposition of California Journalism," co-sponsored by the California Newspaper Publishers Association.
