- Summary:
- In the late Ming Dynasty, which is the 16th and early 17th century, China did show some sign of similarity with Europe at the same time, that there was a reckless accumulation of wealth among the entrepreneurial elites, rampant inequality, through which the entrepreneurial elite concentrated wealth into their hands and invested in seafaring commercial activities, technologies, so on and so forth. But this good time for the entrepreneurial elite was not long.
