Summary:
What are the beginnings of the American constitution? What do fundamental – or inalienable – rights of the constitution mean? As we go about our lives, we take for granted our fundamental rights and simply call them "rights." However, most of us do not know exactly what they are. In lecture one, we review the fundamental rights as outlined by the US Constitution, examine how they are protected, and see to whom they apply.
