Miniature Torah ark, created from wood, housing a miniature facsimile Torah scroll with its own fitted red cloth cover.
Notes:
Text in French: "LA TORAH : La-"TORAH" n'est pas un livre de prière...". Label marks 46 years since the 1892 release of the first edition by "Mr. Sopher".
Ark text engraved on front: "ארון קדש | כי לקח טוב נתתי לכם | תורתי אל תעזובו", with a depiction of a Torah scroll.
