Summary:

Codex manuscript of bakashot and piyyutim (paraliturgical hymns) originating from North Africa (Morocco) divided according to the musical modes (ṭubū') of the Moroccan Hebrew-Andalusian tradition; each song is preceded by a reference to the melody to be use by the singer. All these references start with נו' (meaning נועם, noʻam, i.e. "[sing to] the melody of …"; Edwin Seroussi).

Binding: 19th-20th century gilt-tooled red leather; Mudéjar-style central diamond-shaped filt panel, with geometric multicolored rhombus shapes surrounding an eight-point star; extremities with gilt micro-rosettes and gilt-imprinted ornaments; spine with eight gilt lines across; endpapers modern grey.
