- Feminismo, genealogía y patriarcado es un estudio dirigido a examinar las debilidades teóricas del feminismo dominicano, extendiéndose en menor medida a la región del Caribe, una vez advertida la influencia de la tradición eurocéntrica y estadounidense en el saber. Hurgando en la genealogía del feminismo, se explica su surgimiento y comprueba distenciones históricas a ser evaluadas en dirección a la coherencia del pensamiento político y como uno de los desafios que la carencia teórica ocasiona al movimiento feminista local, por lo que se dispone a trabajar en la elevación del conocimiento a espacios más elevados de creación teórica.
- Feminism, genealogy, and patriarchy is a study aimed at examining the theoretical weaknesses of Dominican feminism, extending to a lesser extent to the Caribbean region, once the influence of Eurocentric and U.S. traditions on knowledge is recognized. By delving into the genealogy of feminism, its emergence is explained and historical divergences are identified to be evaluated in terms of the coherence of political thought and as one of the challenges that the lack of theory poses to the local feminist movement, which is why it seeks to work on elevating knowledge to higher levels of theoretical creation.
