Summary:
In this final segment of the "Ring cycle," Wagner brings the double tragedy of Wotan and Siegfried full circle. Brünnhilde declares that Wotan is all-powerful and everlasting. With helmet and gleaming armour, she rides through the air leading a resurrected Siegfried by the hand. Siegfried is reconciled with Wotan, and society is cured of its ills.
