"Note. Persons examining this catalogue will observe that all works are entered under the name of their respective authors, where these are known. In a few cases, where it is thought that the author's name may not be likely to occur to the mind, on the moment, books are likewise entered by their titles. In making up a catalogue of our stock, it has been thought unnecessary to include in it the more common sort of new books, such as are found in all bookstores. With respect to such works, it will be sufficient to observe that we are at all times ready to furnish them at the lowest rates.
