Summary:
Kwai is one of China's most well-known short-video platforms for recording and sharing daily life. Internationally, it is TikTok's biggest competitor. With the continuous advancement of Internet technology and the decreasing cost of traffic, Kwai's users surpassed 100 million in 2015 and continued to grow at a rapid pace. However, increased competition has increased the pressure on Kwai's development. In the face of such business challenges, Kwai has expanded or decreased company departments as needed, changed the company's organizational structure, and adjusted the functions of company leaders. Kwai achieved overall group-level profitability for the first time in 2023. Kwai's organizational restructuring and change process has allowed the company to create an organizational structure system that benefits both the company and society. Students will be asked to evaluate the advantages of organizational change and organizational design.
