A member of a royal family in the Middle East started a personal foundation in memory of her father's legacy in their country. The foundation requested an external consultant to develop, in cooperation with a non-governmental organization (NGO) or other international foundation, a prize to recognize exceptional work done in advancing human rights in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The case follows Darius Jacobs, the lead American consultant for a boutique local consulting company working with royal families. Darius is both an insider and an outsider - he has worked with the local company, Lambda Group Consulting, for a number of years, but he has never worked face-to-face with members of a royal family. He faces unique pressures in how he communicates and presents problems during the project. As he progresses through the campaign, he discovers particular dynamics in communication that are ultimately critical to the success of the project.
