- C.F. Koo (1917-2005), founder of the Koos Group in Taiwan and second generation of a powerful family business, married Cecilia Yen in 1949. Koo was facing a crisis, benefited C.F. Koo and his family business tremendously. The Koo family faced another series of crises in the 2000s and the Koos Group seemed to have lost its past glory.
