Maria-Elena Santos was transferred to Sydney, Australia, to lead a multi-national sales and marketing team. As a high-potential manager who has been on the fast-track and has carefully managed her career, Santos is excited to add a critical international assignment to her resume and confident about her ability to successfully complete the assignment. She is replacing a beloved manager who had taken great pains to build a cohesive and effective team. Santos jumps into action without much help from her boss and is focused on the task while the team continues to perform well.
