- This case study discusses intentionality in choosing supervision interventions. It tells the story of Xiomara, a coach discovering her coaching identity through engaging in individual supervision with Sky, an experienced coaching supervisor. Using aliases to preserve anonymity, the case presents background information about a year-long supervisory relationship from the perspectives of both Sky and Xiomara. Learners use the information for a series of fishbowl exercises where they can take one of three perspectives - the supervisor, the supervisee or an observer. Learners use the case materials to explore intervention frameworks as cognitive maps for intentionally choosing coaching supervision interventions.
