This work critically analyzes the role of language in contemporary political disputes, focusing on the so-called "anti-gender discourse" in Brazil. Through an examination of the institutional discourse of the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights during the Bolsonaro administration, the author investigates how discursive practices contribute to the construction of power, the production of silences, and the reconfiguration of rights.
