- Summary:
- Millions ride the Paris metro daily, but what are they breathing? Over eight months, investigators measured heavy metal levels in fine particles across 332 metro and RER stations and found pollution nearly five times higher than WHO limits. The subway's air vents also contaminate nearby neighborhoods. Metro conductor Bastien Berthier believes his declining health is linked to this exposure and the data supports him. This new season of Green Warriors exposes a hidden environmental threat beneath Paris, and challenges the officials and industries behind it.
