- Summary:
- Twenty-six years after its ban, asbestos still haunts French schools, with over 85% of buildings likely contaminated. Yet no official survey exists, and nearly 100 teachers die each year from mesothelioma. What about the children? In this year-long investigation, Green Warriors contacted 50,000 schools and 35,000 mayors to uncover the truth, taking dozens of samples with scientists' help. The findings sparked national alarm and even reached Kazakhstan, where the team investigated asbestos mining's global toll. This exposé confronts a silent, ongoing threat in our classrooms.
