- Summary:
- César Fierro needs to rebuild his life after being wrongly sentenced to death in Texas. He spent most of his life in the "Polunsky Unit", a prison that keeps human beings in complete isolation for decades. Director Santiago Esteinou and César became friends over the last 14 years in prison when Santiago made a documentary about César's case. Released in the middle of a pandemic, with no place to go, César is immediately confronted with his own limitations, learning to use a cellphone, daring to leave his room, overcoming the anxiety of being around other people and reconnecting with his family. Despite the challenges, César Fierro remains determined to find true freedom.
