Menzilnames describing the route, risales explaining the principles of worship, travelers' notes, and various prayer collections have recorded both the physical and spiritual dimensions of this journey in written memory. The route notes kept by officials accompanying the pilgrimage caravans document the administrative structure and functioning of the Ottoman pilgrimage organization, while the prayer and ritual booklets carried by the pilgrims shed light on the spiritual preparation process of this journey. This catalog, includes illuminated copies of the Holy Quran prepared for the Two Holy Mosques, rare manuscripts in the author's own handwriting, feraşet documents, Surre registers, archival documents related to the Ottoman Hajj organization, collections containing prayers, as well as a belt hung in the Ravza-i Mutahhara, depictions of the Kaaba, tables depicting the route of the Hijaz Railway, and various rare objects.
