- Summary:
- "Accomplishing the goals of the Taraia Object Expedition requires the design of a complex configuration of electronic equipment to be installed on Nikumaroro. In Series Episode 6, Rick Pettigrew and Laura Kennedy describe the purposes and the specific functions of the technology designed for use on the island. This equipment will include a solar power station, a Starlink Internet connection and devices for site security and recordation of meteorological and tidal data. This system will also allow us during our fieldwork to communicate directly with the world from a remote and uninhabited South Pacific island."-- Provided by Heritage Broadcasting Service
